Ubuntu, Tizen and Firefox - Different operating system
Top Browsers |
90 percent of the smartphones’ market is owned by Android and Apple’s iOS and after them there are Blackberry and Microsoft’s Window. The coming operating systems are open source platform Linux and Mozilla’s Firefox and it is expected that people like using them.
It is being said that last year there was 46 percent growth of new operating system and the Mozilla Foundation and developer of the Firefox OS are planning Firefox platform in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Montenegro, Poland, Spain, Serbia, Hungary and Venezuela.
Samsung owns 40 percent of all Android phones but it is also planning its new devices launched with Tizen, which is also based on Linux but it is not yet confirmed and fixed whether Samsung may launch or not.
Ubuntu, another operating system which is also based on Linux, is expected to come later this year. The reason behind for different operating system might be that Samsung also wants to control both the hardware and Software ecosystem as Apple.
A major challenge that developers are going to face for any new platform, are to develop the applications that make up the ecosystem because native applications are smoother, cleaner and more natural rather than cross platform of HTML5 that can be adapted for different devices.
So the time is coming of different operating system with their different platforms and soon we all be seeing and feeling a different experience of other OS than Android and Apple’s.
