Interim Rail Budget for next 4 months, new trains over Political track

Rail Minister Mallikarjun Kharge introduced his first Interim Rail Budget 2014-15 on Wednesday. He came to present Rail Budget with full preparation. But he had cut off budget speech after 20 minutes because of Andhra Pradesh MPs raised slogans for Telangana issue.

Rail Budget came with 73 new trains including 17 premium trains, 39 express trains, 10 passenger trains, 4 MEMU and 3 DEMU. Kharge said in his Interim Rail Budget that inspection will be started on 19 new railway tracks. 5 routes will be surveyed for doubling.3 trains will be getting extended. They will also increase the number of rotation of 3 trains.

Through Railway, UPA government targets those 125 seats where they found competition with Narendra Modi. To stay in U.P. with their 80 seats, they blessed UP with 11 new trains. Budget also announces that Rail coach factory will soon start in Soniya Gandhi’s Raibareli. Almost half dozen express trains have been gifted to North U.P. only. New trains from Gorakhpur to Mumbai, Pune, Amritsar and New Delhi have been announced. 10 trains have been given to West Bengal being 41 UPA seats in West Bengal.
